KATY, Texas — Well we know everything's bigger in Texas, and car washes apparently are no exception.

This coming Thursday, the Houston Business Journal reports, officials with the Guinness World Records will recognize the Buc-ee’s car wash in Katy as the longest car wash in the world.

The 255-foot car wash is just a little shorter than a football field. Customers will get a free car wash that day in celebration from 7 a.m to 8 p.m.

The Texas chain also owns the world’s largest convenience store, located just outside of San Antonio.

The record-breaking car wash is located at off the Katy Freeway at Cane Island Parkway.
