The calendar may say November but the temperatures are more like late September or early October. Average highs this time of year should be in the upper 60s around Raleigh to near 70 and the low 70s around Fayetteville and Wilmington. By the time we get to Friday our afternoon highs will be running about ten degrees above normal.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy days are expected as we head toward the weekend with very little, if any, chance for measurable rain. Some locations in central North Carolina may just see a few sprinkles late Friday night or early Saturday morning.

This month we see a decent cool down as normal daytime highs and morning lows will be eight to ten degrees cooler by the end of the month.
