LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Investigators in Washington say a 19-year-old boy from Kerrville has been arrested on first degree murder charges.

This after investigators say the teen admitted to killing a 6-year-old family member, and putting his body in a dumpster.

Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after finding the body of a missing 6-year-old autistic boy named Dayvid Pakko inside the dumpster just a few feet from his family's Lynnwood apartment.

Snohomish County detectives say a 19-year-old male relative visiting from Texas admitted to drowning the child in a bathtub in the family apartment.

Probable cause documents released by investigators reveal the suspect admitted to wrapping the child in a blanket, placing him in a cardboard box and then putting him in the dumpster.

"And I don't want to ever feel what I am feeling again because it’s horrible what's happened," said neighbor Anthony Micallef.

Micallef spent Monday night alongside neighbors and investigators searching for the child after family members reported him missing Monday afternoon.

"I knew the weather was going to start getting bad and he didn't have shoes on and he's in his pajamas and I'm thinking, man if that was my kid, I'd be going crazy right now,” Micallef said.

Micallef is searching for the words to explain this tragedy to his own 6-year-old son, a friend and a schoolmate of David.
