AUSTIN, Texas -- For music lovers, it's one of the best times of the year, but heading out to Zilker Park, it is important to know the necessities and items that are prohibited.
Security will be at an all-time high in wake of last week's shooting in Las Vegas.

The best way to avoid lines is to leave any bags at home There is a 'No Bag Express Lane', otherwise people can expect to wait in line to have their bag checked. People are also advised to avoid arriving between peak hours if it is possible, which are between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., in order to gain the quickest entry to the park.
Items Allowed:
• binoculars
• blankets/sheets/towels
• cameras
• foldable chairs
Items Prohibited:
• bags larger than 18 liters
• e-cigs, vaping devices
• aerosol containers - sunscreen, beauty products
• professional audio/video recording equipment & cameras
• camera accessories - including go pro mounts and selfie sticks
• drones
• tents or other camping setups
• umbrellas
• coolers
• Glass and metal containers
• pets - except for service animals
• outside food or drinks, but you can bring in two sealed plastic water bottles
Ticket information:
• If you haven't picked up tickets, you can today from 10 a.m. thru 10 p.m.
• Box Office during the festival is located at each entrance on Barton Springs Road (East and West locations)
• Bring a photo ID.
