Adam was born and raised in the Midwest, but considers himself a Texan since moving to the state in 2006.
Adam is from Oak Brook, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago).
He attended Purdue University at West Lafayette, Indiana where he earned his B.S. in meteorology, with a minor in economics.
He's also earned the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation from the American Meteorological Society.
Adam's TV career began in Hastings, Nebraska. Next he spent some time at the Fox affiliate in San Antonio, then joined us in 2008.
The last 10 years has been an interesting time to be a meteorologist in this region. Adam has guided our viewers through record drought, record heat, record floods, and countless rounds of severe storms.
When Adam isn't tracking the weather, he spends most of his time trying to keep up with his energetic kids, born in 2011 and 2013.
He enjoys getting outdoors as much as possible, especially to play golf and tennis. He also loves all things sports, and is a loyal fan to his hometown Cubs, Bulls, Bears and Blackhawks, along with the Purdue Boilermakers.
