STATEWIDE — It isn’t just humans trying to escape the wrath of Hurricane Harvey following the historic rainfalls brought by the dangerous storm.
Our Erin Murray caught a few cows on the loose, fleeing their flood-ridden La Grange home.
CNBC News’ Harriet Taylor also posted a video on Twitter showing police near Dayton, Texas, about 40 miles northeast of Houston, guiding dozens of cattle down a street and to “higher ground.”
In Houston alone, there’s been a reported 2,000 people rescued from homes and almost 9 million people are under flash flood warnings.
