SAN ANTONIO — A rear tire on a minivan blew out in Southwest Bexar County, causing a vehicle to roll over onto access road, spilling reptiles all over the roadway.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, the male driver was initially entrapped and a 9-year-old male passenger was also inside of the van when the accident occurred.

The van contained 30 snakes including rattlesnakes and cotton mouth. A tortoise and a baby alligator were also inside the van, and still missing.
No snake or animal bites have been reported.
Both occupants were transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center.
Twenty three snakes out of the 30 were recovered.
