UVALDE, Texas — The 20-year-old man accused of hitting a church bus head on and killing 13 people has been arrested. 

Earlier this week, a grand jury convened in Uvalde County to decide the next steps in the case.

Jack Dillion Young, of Leakey, Texas, surrendered Wednesday and is being held in the Uvalde County Jail. 

Young is blamed for the deadly March 29 collision, has been charged with 13 two-count indictments alleging intoxication manslaughter and manslaughter, and one two-count indictment alleging intoxication assault/aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury, authorities said Thursday morning.

Reports after the March crash showed investigators found marijuana and prescription medication in Young's truck after the crash that killed all but one person on board.

Cell video video shows his truck swerving across the rural road for about 15 minutes before the crash.

He will remain in custody until such time as he may be able to post a bond of $380,000. The district judge has also placed further conditions of bond including a curfew, ignition interlock installed on his vehicle, weekly urinalysis testing and a GPS monitor.
