Man Shot on South Congress at East Riverside

AUSTIN, Texas — A shooting has occurred at South Congress Avenue at East Riverside Drive.

The call came in around 7:15 a.m. at 611 S. Congress Ave. Austin-Travis County EMS said the man is believed to be in his 50s.

He has been transported to the hospital in critical condition and is undergoing surgery.
