AUSTIN, Texas — The driver who hit and killed an Austin police officer in September is no longer facing felony charges.
The Travis County District Attorney's office has dropped charges against Ana Prado.
Prado was driving with a suspended license when she made an illegal turn during a funeral procession.
Officer Amir Abdul-Khaliq died days later.
The municipal court could still file misdemeanor charges.
