WACO, Texas — A judge has refused to disqualify the central Texas district attorney prosecuting the bikers indicted in last year's deadly gun battle at a Waco restaurant.

Critics say DA Abel Reyna overstepped his authority in having more than 150 bikers arrested following the May 2015 shootout.

Some defendants have also filed lawsuits against Reyna saying they were unlawfully arrested and jailed on bonds of $1 million.
