A couple of 5-0 teams facing off in Wimberley between the Texans and Boerne in our Austin Game of the Week.  Two of the best quarterbacks in the area also squaring off in the game with Wimberley’s Jojo Weeks and Boerne’s Brooks Klutts.   The Greyhounds got out to a nice early lead on the road before the Texans pulled within three, but Boerne had too much offensive firepower, winning 41-28

In our San Antonio Game of the Week, the Reagan Rattlers did exactly what they always do in 26-6A action: win.  Reagan has won four straight district titles, going perfect in each of those seasons in district play.  Churchill put up a good fight, but the Rattlers slithered away with a 28-21 win.

Tons of other highlights as well in the show from Austin and San Antonio, including the number five Westlake Chaps hanging on to beat Hays in the final tune-up before they take on Lake Travis.   LBJ responded with a big win over Lanier, Marshall shutout Holmes, and Hutto stayed perfect on the season.

Plus, San Marcos beats Del Valle in a huge 14-6A contest, and in the postgame interview with Stef Manisero, Rattlers head coach Mark Soto calls out Travis Recek to get his quarterback higher up the rankings.
