April the Giraffe is pregnant again. The giraffe, a mainstay at a small town animal park in New York’s Southern Tier, captivated millions across the globe and is due next spring.

Last year, millions were glued to their computer screens, following the pregnancy of April the Giraffe.

Then, when the day finally came, a record 14 million people tuned into the park's webcam, as she gave birth to her calf Tajiri.

"Of course we never anticipated the giraffe hysteria that unraveled in 2017 but we certainly embraced it and here we are we are with potentially giraffe hysteria 2019," said Jordan Patch, Animal Adventure Owner.

Now, 14 months later, April is pregnant once again.

Rumors began to swirl last month, as samples were sent to a zoo laboratory for testing.

Wednesday morning, Patch made it official.

"It was very exciting to finally share with the world the good news that we've known for about two weeks now, so now officially that the giraffe is out of the bag, we can certainly start embracing what's to come," said Patch.

So what can we expect this time around? Well, the giraffe cam is coming back, giving fans of Tajiri, April and her family the chance to follow her journey once again."

"It's very exciting. Yes. We hope to tune into that camera again and hopefully we get to see a life birth, because that's not something you see every day,” said Amy Paolini, Endwell Resident.

And last year, that drew more than $200,000 people to Animal Adventure Park.

"The park saw major number increases with the giraffe hysteria round one, so what will round two being us? We don't know, but again, we are optimistic," said Patch.

April is expected to give birth sometime in the Spring.

This will be April's fifth calf, and her second born at Animal Adventure Park.
