INVERNESS, Fla. -- The Alzheimer’s Family Organization will host a free Caregiver Learning Day from on Friday, July 20.

The program will provide a report services available by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office and the Disability Rights Florida. A workshop will also be available to help interpret the behaviors of individuals suffering from dementia.
Guests are encouraged to interact, ask questions and discuss their concerns about Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
A Virtual Dementia Tour will also be available for guests. The simulation will give individuals the ability to experience what dementia is like so they can better understand their physical and cognitive disabilities.
While admission is free, reservations are required for those interested in attending. Continental breakfast and lunch will also be provided.
