SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police have arrested a suspect in East Side shooting that sent a man to the hospital last Friday. 

Michael Puente, age 30, was arrested Sunday on second degree felony charges.

Officers arrived to the 30-year-old male victim’s home on the 200 block of Gorman Street around 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 15.

According to police, the man and Puente got in an argument when Puente shot him. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Puente was not at the scene when officers arrived, but was located and is now being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony. His bond has been set at $75,000.
