KILLEEN, Texas – A high school student was arrested on Thursday for making terroristic threats.

This comes a day after a Killeen middle school student was arrested for similar charges.

A Harker Heights High School junior was arrested and taken to the Bell County Juvenile Center after the student was accused of threatening gun violence against his or her peers during class.

Principal Larry Brazzil called parents to inform them about the arrest that happened on campus and that no one was injured.

Neither the school nor authorities identified the student.

A similar incident happened on Wednesday when a 12-year-old student at Roy J. Smith Middle School was accused of making threats on social media.
