RALEIGH -- Aqua North Carolina customers in north Raleigh could have water by Thursday afternoon.

The company posted on its website that it would link 700 customers to a temporary water source to serve customers in the Stonehenge development, which includes the subdivisions of Stonehenge, Wildwood Green and Still Water Landing.

Many customers complained Wednesday about an outage and water discoloration under Aqua NC.

A spokesperson said water levels are low because wells are pumping twice as hard and continuously running out of water.

Stonehenge and Crescent Ridge systems are under a non-essential water usage restriction until further notice.

Customers are asked to completely limit using water for non-essential needs until further notice including watering lawns, plants and shrubs.
