LEXINGTON, N.C. -- A homicide investigation is underway in Lexington after police found the body of an 18-year-old shooting victim behind a vacant home Wednesday morning.

• A 18-year-old shooting victim was found dead behind a vacant home in Lexington.
• The shooting happened on Hamil Street, but the vacant home is on Tussey Street.
• There is no indication of any other victims. 

Police were called to the home on Tussey Street after getting information about a possible shooting victim in the area.

Investigators learned that the shooting happened on Hamil Street.

Officers have not released the name of the victim, and say there is no indication of any other victims at this time.
