Spectrum News is a 24-hour local news channel serving all Spectrum video customers in North Carolina.  Our state-of-of-the-art studios, production and distribution systems allow continuous updating of daily news. Our mission is to provide dependable, convenient local news, weather, sports and political coverage any time, any place and on any device.

Spectrum News provides four unique, around-the-clock news feeds customized for the Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro and Coastal markets.  In a partnership, Spectrum News also produces three half-hour newscasts at 6:30 a.m., 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. each weekday for ABC45/WXLV-TV in Winston-Salem. 

 

Spectrum News is the leader in local weather coverage providing current forecasts every ten minutes with the original “Weather On The Ones”. We have the largest team of experienced meteorologists in the state. Viewers rely on Spectrum News for accurate, timely forecasts and continuous coverage of severe weather.

Capital Tonight is a half-hour program weeknights at 7 p.m. that covers statewide politics, policies and influential people in North Carolina. Capital Tonight replays at 12 a.m.

 

Sports Night is the only local nightly half-hour sports show in the state that focuses on North Carolina sports. Sports Night airs every night at 10 p.m. and replays at 2 a.m.
