The city is releasing 100,000 documents relating to the case of five teenagers wrongfully convicted of raping a woman in Central Park nearly 30 years ago.

Known as the "Central Park Five," the teens were found guilty of raping a jogger and severely beating her.

The group was released after more than a decade behind bars when serial rapist Matias Reyes confessed to the crime.

The "Central Park Five" sued the city in 2003, but it wasn't until 2012 when both sides settled for $41 million.

Their lawyers urged the city to release the case documents, which include information from court, the police and the prosecution.
