Schenectady police have made an arrest in connection with the stabbing of a woman Tuesday afternoon.

Police say 17-year-old Earl Emmanuel stabbed a 21-year-old woman in the area of 933 Park Avenue.

The woman was treated on scene and transported to Albany Medical Center. Her current condition is not known.

Emmanuel was found in the area of 908 Crane Street late last night and taken into custody.

He is charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and petit larceny.
