Healthcare workers and community advocates are rallying in support of Rep. John Katko, thanking him for his continued support of healthcare.

Katko is a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus that supports the bi-partisan Alexander-Murray bill.

Supporters say he's voted no on important bills and they say it's important to keep the Affordable Care Act funded because New Yorkers need it.

"They won't become insured. They won't get treatment. They take their prescriptions. Sick people will get sicker. We can't have that. Keep it funded. Keep it going, because it's saving lives," said Steve Wood, ACR Health Director of Insurance Programs.

The Alexander-Murray plan would restore funding for insurance companies to keep premiums low, as part of the ACA marketplace.
