Volunteers at Our Lady of Pompeii are gearing up for the 69th Annual Spaghetti Supper.

The supper is held every year on Election Day, which is November 6th. It benefits the parish's school program.

Volunteers are rolling 6,000 meatballs in preparation for the big day. They also have to prepare 200 gallons of sauce and 700 pounds of pasta.

About 2,500 dinners will be served.

"We get all the politicians at lunch time,” said Parishioner Volunteer Tino Porrino. “I guess there is a long standing tradition if you miss the spaghetti supper, the election doesn't always turn out the way the candidate wants it too, and so they show up."

The Spaghetti Supper will be served from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm on November 6th.

Its $10 for adults and $7 for kids 5-to-10 years old. Kids 5 and under eat for free.

Takeout and delivery are also available.
