NEW YORK - The general election is now less than three weeks away and a new poll shows Andrew Cuomo dominating the governor's race.

The Quinnipiac University survey shows likely voters across the state back Cuomo over Republican Marc Molinaro 58 percent to 35 percent.

Among likely voters in the city, Cuomo leads 77 percent to 13 percent.

Voters upstate lean towards Molinaro 52 percent to 41 percent.

In the race for U.S. Senate, incumbent Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand holds a large lead over Republican Chele Farley 58 percent to 33 percent.

As for President Donald Trump, state voters disapprove of his job performance 60 percent to 37 percent.

In the city, his disapproval rating is 73 percent.

The poll was conducted between October 10th and 16th and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.
