The now-former Dunkin' Donuts employee, seen on video pouring water on a homeless person in Syracuse, has agreed to perform 75 hours of community service and will not face charges.

The idea came from Jeremy Dufresne, who is according to the Onondaga County District Attorney the very same man seen on video jumping up from his seat inside the North Salina Street shop once the pitcher of water hit him.

The video went viral, leading to protests, and two employees were ultimately fired.

Shakeen Robbins later apologized on video, according to the DA, and will now volunteer at an agency that assists the homeless population in Syracuse.

Family members of Dufresne said he sometimes prefers the street and endures constant mistreatment. The DA's Office stated that Dufresne should be commended for his graciousness, and that Dufresne was only charging his cell phone.

Management of Dunkin' also pledged to further work with local homeless advocacy groups to train workers on how best to engage with and better direct homeless people.
