It's almost time for an annual motorcycle ride and festival honoring fallen Deputy Kurt B. Wyman.

Wyman served with the Oneida County Sheriff's Office. He was shot and killed while on duty in 2011.

The event is this Saturday. Ride registration is from 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at Harley Davidson of Utica.

A ceremony will take place, and it all kicks off the festival at the Whitestown Park.

There are also plans to honor fallen Whitesboro Police Officer Kevin Crossley.

"We're very very happy that his dad is going to ride his motorcycle right up front in this ride in honor of Kevin. So it's going to be a big deal for us. And as well, we have put Kevin's name on the back of our shirts this year that we had made up for the ride," said Dave Olney, the Deputy Kurt B. Wyman Motorcycle Ride Chair.

Money raised at the event is being used for the construction of the Deputy Kurt B. Wyman Memorial Park.

For the first time, soccer games will be played there.
