More than 200 Fort Drum soldiers will soon hit the road to help out with relief in the wake of tropical storm Florence.

On Friday, soldiers spent the day packing trucks with food and making sure the vehicles were ready for inspection. They will leave Fort Drum Staurday morning.

Once the soldiers arrive in North Carolina, they will be helping multiple agencies like the Red Cross and FEMA with storm relief.

Soldiers plan to stay until the job is done.
