After a court battle John Mannion will remain on the ballot in the 50th State Senate District Race.

Republicans questioned the petitions that Manion's campaign gathered. A paid campaign worker did not have the right to sign off on the signatures that were sent to Albany.

Onondaga County Republican Chairman Tom Dadey called it voter fraud. The judge did not agree.

Both sides agreed to remove Mannion from the reform party. But, he will remain on the Democratic, Working Families, and Women's equality party lines.

"We're just going to keep focusing on our campaign and making sure we get out to the public like we have been as much as we can over the past 12 weeks to listen to their concerns and address them," said Mannion.

"The buck stops with the candidate as Harry Truman once said, that John Mannion doesn't really have much control over his campaign and doesn't have much knowledge about the day to day workings of his campaign," said Dadey.

Republicans will now have to decide if they want to appeal.

Mannion is running against Bob Antonacci, to replace longtime republican senator John DeFrancisco.
