Tedra Cobb came out on top in the 21st Congressional District by defeating four other Democrats Tuesday night.

Cobb will attempt to unseat Republican Elise Stefanik in November as she seeks a third term in Congress.

The business owner is an advocate for universal health care and making college more affordable.

The race also included Emily Martz, Patrick Nelson, Dylan Ratigan and Katie Wilson, a business owner from Essex County. David Mastrianni, also appeared on the ballot, but withdrew from the race back in May.
