On the corner of Lynwood Avenue in Eastwood Wednesday, people stand crying. Marcia Putnam stands quietly outside of house 158. She says inside, her son lay dead.

"I want my son back. I know that's not possible. I want them to find out who did this," said Putnam.

At around 4 p.m., Syracuse Police responded to the home for reports of a shooting. Inside, they found Luis Sepulveda, 21, and Christopher McLauren, 28, both of Syracuse, shot to death.

"I don't know who would kill somebody maliciously like this," said Putnam.

Police say it doesn't appear these were random murders-- they believe the victims were targeted.

"This is the first time this particular residence has come up on our radar," said Syracuse Police Chief Frank Fowler.

"They're asking me for questions. Did he have any people that didn't like him or have anything against him. Not to my knowledge," said Putnam.

Putnam says her son did not live at the Lynwood home. Some neighbors believe the building was a rental with several units.

"I want them to find out who did this. Of course as a mother," said Putnam.

These are the 11th and 12th homicides in the city this year.

Police are in the early stages of this investigation and do not have any information about a suspect.
