Cynthia Nixon makes another stop in Syracuse, as she continues her campaign for governor.

Nixon met with community members outside the Immigration and Customs office on Thursday.

She believes more needs to be done to protect undocumented immigrants in New York State, including the ability for them to get driver's licenses.

The democrat also called out the presence of immigration officers at transportation hubs in Syracuse.

Nixon says Governor Cuomo's recent criticism of ICE is necessary, but she wants to see him actually take action.

"We need to make policies that will protect our immigrants; we need to make them legislatively,” said Nixon. “This is a country of immigrants, this a country built by immigrants and we need to value our immigrants."

Nixon's visit to Central New York comes just after ICE agents arrested a man on a farm in Rome.

Cuomo has since spoken out against the raid.
