SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A robbery suspect related to the family killed in a fatal Syracuse fire is released by authorities.

Minnie Dubois was released on Monday after being arrested over the weekend for a robbery along the 1000 block of North Salina Street.

Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick says she was released after family members claimed she couldn't have been at the scene because she was at the funeral for the four family members who were killed in the Fitch Street fire, two-weeks-ago. Fitzpatrick says investigators are looking into it.

"The charge is still pending and sometime without giving a specific timeframe, sometime in the relatively near future, we'll have a decision whether she was wrongfully arrested and is completely exonerated or whether or not she will be in fact prosecuted for the offense," he said.

The second person arrested in the case, Luis Rosa, remains in jail.
