A college student was killed in a skiing accident at Whiteface Mountain this weekend.
St. Lawrence University announced the death of Luke Harvey on Saturday.
The college says the SLU Senior was with friends and roommates on the mountain Saturday morning at the time of the accident.
They were apparently planning to spend Easter at his family's home in Vermont.
Harvey was a geology major, and according to the university, a beloved student on campus.
They are making counseling services available to any students who may need them.
