The Onondaga Community College community is coming together in the wake of the tragedy.

The school offered students the opportunity to grieve together Saturday. Students could spend time with therapy dogs and take part in art therapy. They also wrote letters for the families of the victims.

Staff said many are still in shock about what happened and they are trying to focus on the happy memories they have of the three young adults.

"They live together, they're taking classes together, they're building community together, and so when you lose someone who is close to you living in these close quarters it's important for us to be able to provide opportunities for our students so they can still focus on their education but also be able to grieve and let out those emotions and continue here at OCC," said Sheriah Dixon, Onondaga Community College Resident Life Director.

Students tell us a candlelight vigil is being organized.
