ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Sunday in Orchard Park high winds and major snow played a factor outside the stadium just as much as it did inside the stadium.

"We are pushing cars to help them get out of the parking lot, because it's so snowy in Buffalo," said Bills fan Stephanie Nuttle.

"We couldn't even see the other goal post, so we had no idea what was going on so we were just cheering, pretending we knew what was going on, but you can't tell — it's a white out," said Bills fan, Tanner Zientek.

Some fans left New Era Field as early as the third quarter some to beat weather-related traffic, others who couldn't stand the bitter cold.

This was the first ever Bills game for Christian Backus, he tried his best to weather the storm, but had to tap out early.

"It was loud and cold and I was wet," said Backus.

However, most earned their fan-merit badge for winter weather survival — sticking it out through four quarters and overtime never wavering in their commitment to make it to the end.

"Just absolutely crazy; you got Christmas time, snow flowing, you got people pumped up for the game, I had a blast," said Bill Pedi.

"We saw a couple people leave a little bit early, but since it was keeping people on the edge of their seats people stayed around and I was happy to see that," said Trevor Shea of Toronto, Ontario.

Fan diligence was rewarded as they trudge through the snow, and dug out their cars proud with a W.
