A Syracuse man has luck on his side.

Richard Heath won big playing New York lottery's $2 Win for Life game.

The 77-year-old Pennzoil truck driver retiree bought the ticket at the South Salina Street Mobile Mart on his way to his second career as a school crossing guard.

Heath opted for the single payment option totaling more than $536,000.

He plans to help family with some of the money -- and has no plans to stop working.

"Gotta stay busy. Gotta keep moving. Cause the body's breaking down so you gotta keep trying to straighten it out," Heath said.

He's the second Onondaga County resident this year to win a scratch-off game's top prize.
