SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse Latino Americano Festival took over Clinton Square Saturday.

Besides the live music people could also enjoy food, vendors, a youth show, sports tournaments and more.

The biggest change this year is the location. It used to be held on the near west side.

Organizers are thrilled with the change so they can share their culture with even more people.

"We want the whole entire community to know that we are very happy, talented, reaching closure community and we are part of this beautiful city so let's work all together," event founder Fanny Villarreal said.

The festival also contributes to a scholarship through the CNY Community Foundation.
