There is still no information on the suspect responsible for the death of a 19-year-old following a stabbing in Syracuse this weekend.

Syracuse Police say they were called to the 1100 block of North State Street just before 1 a.m. Sunday. After arriving on scene, officers found 19-year-old Christopher Hickey with a stab wound to the chest. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he later died.

Investigators say Hickey was stabbed during an argument with someone he knew.

A vigil was held Sunday night on the city's west side to remember Hickey. Friends and family say he was a good person and had a laugh they'll never forget, adding that he always worked hard to get where he needed to.

There's no description of a suspect at this time. Police are asking anybody with information regarding this investigation to contact Syracuse Police at (315) 442-5222.
