SODUS, N.Y. — State police say a man who drove his boat into a break-wall overnight did so while drunk.

Cory Donk, 23 of Palmyra, is charged with operating a vessel while intoxicated.

Troopers say Donk was boating on Sodus Point shortly after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday when the boat struck the wall.

A 50-year-old passenger was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Along with DWI, Donk is charged with failing to report an accident.
