A new report is claiming the Trump administration wants a legal definition for gender.

According to a draft reviewed by the New York Times, the Department of Health and Human Services would define sex as male or female, unchangeable and determined by the genitals that person is born with.

This has state lawmakers and LGBTQ advocates pushing again for passage of GENDA - or the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act.

The measure has passed in the Assembly several times but has never made it to the floor for a vote in the Republican-led Senate.
