President Donald Trump's visit to upstate New York Monday boosted the profiles of Republican Congresswomen Elise Stefanik and Claudia Tenney and presented Trump with an opportunity to verbally clap back at Governor Andrew Cuomo, who has been criticizing the president on a whole host of issues for months now. The president said he would welcome a 2020 presidential run from Cuomo, and almost dared the governor to run. And Cuomo's response, intended as a jab at Trump, somehow went awry, giving the governor's critics fresh new fodder to use against him.
