It was a busy week for New York state politics. Tuesday, Barbara Underwood became the first woman to hold the title of state attorney general when lawmakers appointed her as interim AG. Wednesday and Thursday, Republicans and Democrats held dueling conventions, nominating their candidates for statewide seats.
