ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Crews were able to extinguish a 2-alarm building fire in Rochester Tuesday night. High winds created an additional challenge for the responders.

Firefighters say they arrived at the scene on Gregory Street shortly before 8:30 p.m. to heavy flames.

Investigators believe it started in the Shanghai grocery store, located on the lower level. No word on what caused the blaze.

According to officials, 11 adults and 2 children escaped unharmed and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
