ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Two people are recovering from a shooting that took place late Saturday night in Rochester.

Rochester police say shortly before 11:30 p.m. they were called to Owen Street for a reported shooting.  

When they got the scene, police found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg. 

He was taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital.  

A little later, police learned a 31-year old woman was taken to Unity Hospital by a private vehicle and was suffering from a gunshot wound as well. 

She was transferred from there to Strong. 

Police say both have non-life threatening injuries.  

As of now, police do not have anyone in custody. 

Back on Owen Street, police say a home near the scene was hit by gunfire, but the resident inside was not hurt.
