EAST ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Local artist and philanthropist Greg Polisseni is displaying his artwork at JB's Smokehouse in East Rochester in the hopes that it will attract buyers to help fund solar pumps at a national park in Zimbabwe.

The pumps would be used to bring up fresh water during the dry seasons that leave elephants prone to dry skin and infection.

"Animals do not have a voice, and it is up to as the American people to really assist in creating charities such as this one," said Polisseni.

The art will be on display for sale at the restaurant on Main Street through next month. There is also a GoFundMe page set up to raise money.
