ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Bills announcing Monday that Josh Allen will get the start Sunday, while multiple reports saying that AJ McCarron does not have a hairline fracture and is day to day. 

The news coming after Allen got to work with the first team during practice. 

Later it was announced that he would indeed make his first NFL start against the Bengals at home this weekend. Through two preseason game, Allen already making a mark with the players he's throwing to.

"I think the guys that are around him every day… we know what he can do,” said wide receiver Jeremy Kerley. “We know that he's special so it's a crazy crazy business man. It's crazy how stuff plays out."

“I think he has done a great job in knowing the type of throws he needs to throw on routes and sometimes it doesn't need to be that 100 mile per hour  throw and sometimes it does but I think we are all getting use to everybody," said wide receiver Andre Holmes.

Allen has gone 18 of 32 with two touchdown passes so far this summer.
