ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — It's a night Bills Mafia has long awaited for back at New Era Field. There's a lot of excitement as folks are ready to start singing "Let's go Buffalo” once again.

Whether it was outside before the gates opened or inside the stands, Bills Mafia was ready to see the players in action.

Some coming from as nearby as the Southern Tier while others drove in from Ohio, all ready to finally wear their red, white and blue again.

“Because of the distance, it's hard for me to come to games,” said Michelle Benvie, who drove in from Akron, Ohio, for the practice. “To me this is like a game so I want to show my team spirit."

Fans in the stands had some coaching advice as they watched the team run through practice.

“Hold him down, you have to keep our quarterback from not getting sacked!” offered Conner Christia and Tiriq Cramer of Buffalo.

So here's to a new season, a new quarterback --but not a new drought.

Lucky for the Bills Mafia, they'll be back at New Era Field in less than a week when the Bills take on the Panthers.
