The ROC Warriors, sponsored by the Amerks as part of Team RWB, are venturing out of their hockey comfort zone next weekend.

Founded by Jim Crowley and R.J. Sirianni, the ROC Warriors welcome returning vets and their families back into civilian life, playing hockey in men's leagues and charity events.

They decided to give lacrosse a try in a perfect scenario for a group of military veterans, the 2nd Annual Shootout for Soldiers in Canandaigua, starting on July 21st. The first game of the tournament is for vets and according to organizer John Isaac, the Warriors will play in the final game game on Sunday evening as well.
