The Syracuse women's basketball team opened their 2017-18 regular season with a 95-68 win over Morgan State Friday afternoon. Freshman forward Digna Strautmane had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Orange in her first collegiate game. Syracuse takes on Maryland Eastern Shore at the Carrier Dome on Thursday.
