GLENDALE, AZ. - In the NHL, there's no such thing as a must-win game in November, but Thursday's game might be as close as you can get. The Sabres faced a last-place Coyotes team that allows more goals than any team in the league (4.4  goals allowed per game). The Blue and Gold pounced on Arizona with four consecutive goals to stake out a 5-1 lead, taking their first three-goal and four-goal leads of the season. The Coyotes roared back with three goals in a seven-minute span, putting Arizona within reach of forcing overtime. Before Arizona's comeback, Benoit Pouliot scored his third and fourth goals of the season, putting him halfway to his total from all of last year. Kyle Okposo snapped a 13-game scoreless drought in the final second of the first period, tying the game at 1-1 and giving the Sabres a huge momentum boost.
